Short version: We ship FedEx Priority Overnight. Corals are backed for 72 hours with store credit or replacements. Free coral shipping $249+. Shipping costs are not covered on replacement orders.
1) Shipping
Carrier: FedEx Priority Overnight for all live animals.
Handling: Orders usually ship within 2 business days after payment (varies with volume and weather).
Free shipping: Coral orders $249+ ship free.
Risk holds: We may delay shipping for weather or carrier risk to protect livestock.
Shipping Days
Home delivery: We ship Monday–Wednesday for doorstep delivery.
Thursday: Allowed only with Hold at FedEx Location and where Saturday Delivery is available. Missed pickup voids DOA/72-hour coverage.
No Friday shipments (unless pre-arranged and customer knows the risk) and no shipping the day after carrier holidays.
Extreme heat/cold: We may require Hold at Location regardless of day.
2) 72-Hour Coral Guarantee
Every coral is covered for 72 hours. If it arrives DOA or dies within 72 hours, we’ll issue store credit or a replacement coral of equal value. No refunds.File a claim.
Proof: For DOA, send a clear photo of the coral in the sealed bag within 2 hours of delivery. For losses inside 72 hours, provide a clear in-tank photo or video.
Frag plugs: Corals must remain on the original frag plug for 72 hours — removing them voids coverage.
Shipping: Shipping costs are not covered on replacement or credit orders.
Exclusions: Color shifts, growth rate, or damage from tank conditions (lighting, flow, aggression, instability) are not covered.
3) Cancellations & Refunds
No refunds once an order has shipped.
Cancellations: WYSIWYG or Cut-to-Order corals canceled before shipping are subject to a 20% fee.
Shipping costs: Non-refundable.
4) Disputes
If there’s an issue, email us first at info@corals4u.us. We stand behind our animals and will work with you.
Initiating a chargeback without contacting us violates this policy. This page will be referenced during disputes.
